Description
Another journal entry detail my studies of watercolor abstract. I was going to take a few days off as we had to travel to visit family. Our stay here got extended so I went to the art supply store so I could continue journaling and practicing these watercolor paintings. I purchased some student grade watercolor and gouache. I found some interesting results there was some metallic gouache in the package which resulted in some texture effects like a more expensive granulating watercolor. These are probably not archival so only sold as digital but I did find it interesting.
